Familiarity with the preparation of bid documentation, vendor assessments, and punch list management.
Experience working on large-scale projects in operational manufacturing facilities.
Proficiency in additional tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, SAP, and Building Management Systems.
Involvement in the development of maintenance strategies and procurement of spare parts.
Understanding of project scheduling, including the identification of system predecessors and successors.
Experience supporting CQV teams and managing technical documentation throughout project execution.
The E&I Project Engineer will play a critical role in the execution of E&I scopes across multiple projects. Responsibilities will include:
Acting as the technical lead for all electrical, instrumentation, life safety, and control systems within assigned projects.
Reviewing and approving design deliverables including schematics, layouts, loop drawings, datasheets, I/O lists, and related engineering documentation.
Supporting in-house electrical design efforts such as load calculations, circuit allocation, redlines, and development of drawings and specifications.
Participating in design reviews, FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests), SATs (Site Acceptance Tests), HAZOPs, and model reviews.
Engaging with equipment vendors to review electrical and hardwired control system elements, including those for critical utilities and GMP spaces.
Supporting project commissioning and qualification (CQV) activities, including protocol review, troubleshooting, and system readiness verification.
Leading or supporting the preparation, issuance, and evaluation of bid packages for E&I scopes, and contributing to contractor engagement and oversight.
Liaising across project teams including design, automation, CQV, construction, and operations to ensure integrated delivery and alignment across disciplines.
Monitoring project schedule elements related to E&I systems, identifying risks, and ensuring timelines are maintained.
Coordinating field walkdowns and system handovers, supporting punch list resolution, and maintaining documentation through the lifecycle of each project.
Supporting the procurement of systems and spare parts in alignment with project needs and site requirements.
Contributing to installation planning and ensuring storage, protection, and retrieval of E&I equipment aligns with best practice.
