Based in Portland, Victoria Relocation Assistance Provided Exceptional Work Culture: Supportive and Collaborative Team UGL’s Fuels and Energy East business is seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused E&I Superintendent to lead the electrical and instrumentation team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and performance of all electrical and instrumentation systems across the site. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of E&I technicians and contractors to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance and project outcomes. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to support plant performance and capital projects. Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs for electrical distribution, control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, site standards, and industry best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Manage budgets, procurement, and contractor performance within the E&I scope. Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all work is performed in accordance with HSE policies. About You Trade or tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline. Proven experience in a superintendent or senior supervisory role within heavy industry – smelting, Oil & Gas mining, or processing preferred. Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, PLCs, , and instrumentation. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
