Start Date: ASAP Roster: Monday – Friday 45 hour work week. Location: Perth CBD Role: Fixed Term Key Responsibilities: General Duties • Lead electrical constructability reviews to identify hazards and ensure safe, compliant execution. • Apply lessons learned from previous electrical scopes to improve current project delivery. • Assess and select the best electrical installation methods, sequencing and access requirements within site constraints. • Lead electrical design and constructability walks with Engineering, Construction and Client teams. • Coordinate, respond to and close out electrical engineering queries (EQs/SQs). • Develop, issue and maintain electrical work packs in line with project and contractor standards. • Track work pack progress and maintain accurate jobcard and documentation registers. • Ensure work packs contain up to date drawings, cable schedules, single lines, standards and reference materials. • Support the development and maintenance of electrical engineering control systems, procedures and forms. • Align electrical work pack deliverables with project QA/QC and engineering strategy. • Assist QA/QC and Construction with electrical performance data capture and reporting. • Manage electrical engineering changes through the approved change control process. • Participate in audits, maintain system compliance and close out corrective actions. • Identify process bottlenecks, conduct trend analysis and drive continual improvement. • Escalate electrical system or delivery issues promptly to avoid project impacts. • Build strong relationships with client and internal electrical engineering stakeholders. • Support site QA/QC and engineering administration as requirements evolve. About You: To succeed in this role, you will have: • Electrical Engineering Qualification or trade qualification of a relevant discipline. • Significant industry relevant experience • Sound knowledge of industry and best-practice standards and their relevance to the sites engineering activities. • Leading edge knowledge and expertise of construction practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to the project engineering activities. • Experience working within a multi-cultural workforce is preferred. • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines consistently. • Ability to work independently and as part of a high functioning team.
