E-Scooter Delivery Driver (1099 Contractor) Schedule: Shift 1 – Midday (Part-Time Weekends) Saturday – Sunday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Shift 2 – Overnight (Part-Time Weekends) Saturday – Sunday | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Shift 3 – Midday (Extended Schedule) Thursday – Sunday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Compensation Type: 1099 Contractor | $16.50/hour Location: 234 Oxmoor Cir Birmingham, AL 35209 Please Note: If you are unable to work one of the required shifts listed above or commute to the warehouse location, we kindly ask that you refrain from applying. Job Summary Veo is seeking motivated Operations Professionals who are passionate about delivering an excellent rider experience by maintaining our fleet and supporting efficient city-wide operations. As an E-Scooter Delivery Driver, you will locate vehicles, swap batteries, rebalance scooters throughout the city, and perform quality checks and minor repairs. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working hands-on, and solving problems in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Follow mobile app instructions to complete assigned shift tasks Drive a company van to locate scooters and perform battery swaps Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas Conduct basic repairs and quality checks to ensure fleet readiness Respond to on-demand requests to locate and retrieve vehicles Support additional operational tasks as assigned Qualifications & Skills Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Comfortable using smartphone apps and digital tools Ability to lift and move scooters weighing up to 60 lbs without assistance Strong communication skills and attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with local geography and street layouts Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or related environments Perks & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, technology-driven company Free Veo ride credits Flexible scheduling Medical, Dental, Vision coverage, and PTO available for eligible full-time employees #VEO2026 Below is the expected salary range for this position.
