Description:

about the company
My client is a leading global bank headquartered in Europe and serves clients in over 40 countries worldwide.
about the job
You will be responsible to provide immaculate administrative and secretarial support to the CEO of APAC and maintain professional discretion in performing your duties. You will be focused on managing the CEO’s calendar, coordinating travel arrangements, collating expense claims and reports, preparing meeting materials and writing meeting minutes for biweekly management meetings to be disseminated to the attendees. You will need to help organise and plan for internal and external events hosted by your leader, and support any senior executives travelling within the APAC region. Over time, you will be the main go-to person for questions and requests related to the office and travel booking / expense reimbursement approvals.
about the manager/team
You will be reporting to the CEO directly and will work in collaboration with the Business Manager to ensure smooth business operations for the CEO. You will also work with another EA to cover each other’s work when necessary.
skills and experience required
The ideal candidate should be tertiary educated and come with at least 10 years of experience in a secretarial role, preferably in the banking and finance industry supporting a front office team. You will need to be self-driven and have excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills to keep on top of your tasks, even when there are challenging timelines to meet. The ability to communicate effectively and professionally, along with being a proactive team player who is consistent in producing high quality and reliable results, will contribute to your success in this role.
