Capital Place Building – 29 Lieu Giai Street, Ngoc Khanh Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, Vietnam Job Description BGSV/EA-VN organization takes the VM-OSS (Occupant Safety System), Airbag ECU development.Technical Project Manager (TPM) is the core position, responsible for the system level product development. Responsible for the system development for Airbag ECU Customer Project Lead the product development work of all functions (Mechanical, HW Electronics , SW and Application) Plan, Monitor & control the system development in accordance with customer requirements and milestones Make decisions within the approved project management plan Defect monitoring, tracking and management Customer(OEM) interface about all engineering topics Act as a contact window and receive requests from OEM, which intends to support VM-OSS/Japan TPMs Report technical topics (ex, development status, defect report) to customer Align product delivery schedule, product verification plan with OEM Lead a group of TPMs Provide direction, mentorship and motivate a team of TPMs to achieve high quality solutions on time and within scope (~10 members). Provide technical guidance and ensure best engineering practices are followed across the projects. Facilitate effective communication within the team and other groups/departments Qualifications Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical, Electronics, SW or in Automotive Engineering 8+ years working experience in automotive industry (preferred in development area) 3+ years experience leading a team of engineers Knowledge of Embedded System Proficient in English communication oral and written (Optional) IBM Jazz Platform Positive leadership and Team development experience Proficient in logical Thinking Accountability Accuracy on document work Commitment Time management Coordination, Independent work as well as Team work Openness to learn something new/difficult by your own Willingness to learn Japanese (if not proficient already) Good engineering sense, fast technical understanding & high quality mindset Good strategic thinking.
