PROGRAM/DEPT: EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION SERVICES

Reports To: Data & Quality Manager
FLSA Status: Regular/full-time/ Non-Exempt

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Early Care and Education Site Supervisor (ECE Site Supervisor) is responsible for the oversight and implementation of overall daily operations of the ECE site with the primary concern for safety, licensing and family engagement.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or documentation demonstrating qualifications as a Center Director per NH Childcare Licensing guidelines.
  • Minimum of 1500 hours experience working with children in a licensed childcare program or public / private elementary school.
  • Documentation of 3 credits in management or supervision, or at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Computer literacy including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Current or ability to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Able to lift 25-40 lbs.

  • Physical strength/endurance/mobility to perform in a standard daily required work routine (i.e., walking, sitting, lifting, and driving to various sites as required).

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Be able to communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, and families regularly.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate instructions.
