Responsibilities

TEAM / ROLE OVERVIEW

The Citi Early Career Apprenticeships & Engagement Team comprises of recruiters, programme managers and practice leads across the UK and North America, supporting Citi businesses in the attraction, selection and programme management of apprenticeship and engagement hires. The Apprenticeships & Engagement recruiter is a SME within the Early Career Apprenticeships & Engagement team. They are responsible for talent acquisition delivery of UK Apprenticeship & Engagement Programmes in partnership with HR colleagues and business stakeholders contributing to the execution of the overall strategy. They will also be required to support global Apprenticeship & Engagement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive and own talent acquisition for Early Career UK Apprenticeship & Engagement programmes. Leverage relevant HR & business partners to ensure effective execution:

  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition delivery of Citi’s Early Career UK Apprenticeship & Engagement programmes
  • Partner with Global Head of Apprenticeships & Engagement and internal business stakeholders on setting and delivering the talent acquisition strategy for all UK Apprenticeship & Engagement programmes
  • Ensure best practice and fully compliant recruitment processes are followed, maintaining an updated candidate tracking system and pipeline
  • Plan and host interview days, assessment centres and selection/offer events with relevant business stakeholders
  • Produce candidate MI/statistics for both the business and Early Career colleagues
  • Support candidate engagement activity and ensure all Citi applicants receive an excellent candidate experience during application journey
  • Review and innovate processes and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Attend and facilitate specific Apprenticeship related events as required
  • Support on UK Apprenticeship marketing campaigns such as the National Apprenticeship Week in both Belfast and London, working closely with the Talent Attraction and Engagement team to run campaigns to drive engagement
  • Proactively partner with the HR Community, business stakeholders, training vendors and Program Management teams to ensure strong working relationships and best practice delivery of programs
  • Act as key point of contact and partner with Citi’s UK vendors including Apprenticeship & Engagement partners
  • Support broader activities as appropriate across the wider global Early Career team
