DISTRIBUTION DESIGNER - EARLY CAREER GA- REMOTE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Distribution Designer to collaborate closely with engineers to translate concepts and specifications into accurate and detailed drawing packages. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary applications to understand electrical systems, and attention to detail will play a pivotal role in our utility power delivery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks in proprietary applications, Adobe, and Microsoft Office in support of multiple engineers.
  • Collaborate with engineers to assist in the creation of plans, specifications, and drawing packages for utility power delivery projects.
  • Evaluate distribution systems and apply engineering design standards to create designs for upgrades or replacements, per utility standards.
  • Use of NESC clearances and utility guidelines to update pole framing and attachments.
  • Review and check drawings to ensure that the designs meet the technical needs of the client and adhere to industry standards for reliability and safety.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned, exhibiting adaptability and flexibility in your role.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently, with exceptional organizational skills, a positive demeanor, and rapid learning abilities.
  • Adept at producing precise work with meticulous attention to detail while adhering to deadlines.
  • Must be comfortable working remote, with a remote team.
