(subject to review and approval) About the Role: An exciting permanent opportunity exists within our Nuclear Medicine team, for a highly motivated and driven new graduate looking to kickstart their career. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Canberra Health Services, you will have the opportunity to work across all areas of the Nuclear Medicine and PET Department (including BMD and Diagnostic CT). This position is both challenging and rewarding, offering a broad comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures to paediatric, oncology and cardiac studies patients, as well as diagnostic CT with/ without contrast as required. In this position under the limited guidance from senior team members, you will be performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within Nuclear Medicine, PET and BMD. You will also prepare, accurately calibrate and administer radiopharmaceuticals by appropriate method, in conjunction with medical physics and medical specialists as required whilst maintaining appropriate and accurate records. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to advances in techniques and quality improvement programs to improve service delivery and implement best practice. This position will allow you to participate and contribute to professional development activities, as well as participating in the development and mentoring of students.
