Responsibilities

The Early Career Program (ECP) is a rotational program that introduces college graduates to METTLER TOLEDO, a leading global manufacturing company.
As an ECP MO Engineering Specialist, you’ll gain experience, tackle challenges, and expand your professional network and skill set while completing rotations across our 3 Columbus locations – our production facility, our distribution center, and our North American headquarters. While your rotations will span several different business areas, the majority of the rotations for this ECP Engineering Specialist will be housed within the MO (Marketing Organization). In supporting our Marketing Organization (MO), you’ll support improvements to our sales and marketing operations. Projects could include creating automation workflows for our sales teams that accelerate data gathering and sharing, collaborating with our IT team on the launch of a new software for our service technicians, or conducting a workflow analysis to streamline our billing process.

As a well-established rotational program that has been in operation for over 35 years, ECP boasts a robust alumni network of leaders throughout the company dedicated to coaching and mentoring current participants to support their long-term growth within the company. Engagement opportunities include:

  • Joining a program committee
  • Quarterly presentations to leadership
  • Participating in on and off-site social and networking opportunities
  • Professional development seminars and community service events
  • Mentoring a summer intern
