Job title: Apprentice and Skills Development Coach – Project Management
Location: Preston with travel to other sites across the UK – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £35,900 – £41,997

Essential:

  • Business professional with understanding of Project Management
  • Strong coaching/mentoring skills
  • Passionate about apprenticeships and learning

Desirable:

  • Teaching and learning qualification, including experience of learning delivery
  • Professional registration in an applicable field
  • Assessor Qualification

THE SKILLS COACH TEAM:

You will be part of the National Programmes Team and working together in a collaborative approach to support apprentices learning and development across the Project Management Degree Apprenticeship. You will be supporting apprentices within the Shared Services and Digital Intelligence Sectors so an element of travel across sites will be expected.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering an effective programme that utilises a coaching and blended learning pedagogy to train, monitor and develop apprentices against relevant Standards in support of them attaining occupational competence.
  • Recording / reporting of performance data effectively in support of delivering outstanding outcomes for learners.
  • Coaching and developing learners through off-the job training courses, providing welfare support and career guidance to aid their progression, attainment and transition into the business.
  • Ensuring safety and professional standards are embedded in all activities or courses delivered to learners.
  • Embedding modern learning practices and additional stretch activities, such as skills competitions and problem-based learning.
  • Coaching, developing and inspiring learners to achieve their full potential and become autonomous employees.
  • Providing and monitoring the effective safeguarding, SHE, welfare and support arrangements for learners whilst on Early Careers & Skills programmes.
  • Support the design and development of curricular content and assessment strategies for our co-delivery modules with our external providers.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across a national landscape with other skills coaches and external providers
  • Support the delivery of content on our co-delivery modules and assess work in conjunction with training providers
