Job Description
The Course Writer position is offered via independent contracts per unit of competency and will assist AIPC to develop of learning and assessment materials for the Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and the Certificates III and IV in School Based Education Support.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with content/industry specialists involved in course development.
  • Conduct research for learning materials as required.
  • Develop and review core learning and assessment materials including written workbooks, assessment activities, facilitator (answer) guides and books of readings.
  • Proof all workbooks and books of readings for formatting, educational and grammatical correctness.
  • Write and update mapping guides as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood and/or education.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience (voluntary or paid) in an early childhood, education support or teaching context.
  • Course development experience (preferably in the Vocational Education Sector).
  • Well-developed communication skills.
  • Good level of computer literacy.
