Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Childhood Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, developing and implementing engaging curriculum, and fostering strong relationships with children, families, and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting
  • ECA Certification preferred/ Bachelors of Education
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Specifically How Does Learning Happen and ELECT document
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Passionate about working with young children and committed to their well-being and development.

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where children feel valued and respected.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped classroom recognizing the environment as a third teacher.
  • Adhere to all licensing and accreditation standards, ensuring the health and safety of all children in our care.
