JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children in a nurturing environment. This position involves working closely with lead teachers to implement lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and foster a positive learning atmosphere for all students.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A background in early childhood education or related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young learners.
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies for supporting diverse learners in the classroom.
  • Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development.
  • Support classroom management by maintaining a structured environment conducive to learning.
  • Provide individualized attention to students, particularly those with special needs or disabilities
  • Facilitate activities that encourage socialization, communication skills, and behavioral management among students.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers in curriculum development and assessment of student progress.
