JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom. EXPERIENCE

• Previous classroom experience is preferred, particularly in early childhood settings.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a valuable asset.
• A background in teaching or caregiving is beneficial for this role.
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices will enhance your effectiveness as an assistant.

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to children’s developmental needs.
• Support children in their daily routines, including meals, nap times, and playtime, fostering independence and self-help skills.
• Engage with children through play, storytelling, and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
• Monitor children’s behavior and provide guidance to promote positive interactions among peers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive atmosphere for all children, including those with disabilities.
