QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational background in a related field is considered an asset
  • Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check (within the last six months)
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C

Responsibilities
  • Daily Reporting and Record Keeping – Attendance, Allergy, Medication, Communication Logs
  • Assist in planning an engaging curriculum based on children’s interests
  • Assist in the educational and social development of children under the direction and guidance of Lullaboo, and classroom teachers
  • Provide support for children in the classroom and enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Maintain up-to-date emergency cards, attendance, and health and safety checks
  • Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
  • Plan programs and curriculum in accordance with “How Does Learning Happen?”
  • Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
  • Manage and maintain an orderly classroom - follow cleaning schedules and room routines
  • Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA
  • Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time
