Job Position We are presently seeking Assistant Teachers at GPHA’s Keystone Star IV Woodland Academy Child Development Center. The Assistant Teacher cares for children under the guidance and supervision of the Lead Teacher to meet their physical, emotional, social and cognitive needs. The Assistant Teacher assists the teacher in both planning and implementing a variety of learning and program activities to meet the needs of children. Requirements Assistant Teachers require a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate and a High School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Development certificate (GED) with two (2) years' work experience related to care and development of children. An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Applicants without a CDA must be willing to obtain one within 1 year of employment. Responsibilities

The Assistant Teacher provides care for children to meet their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs under the guidance of a Lead Teacher. They assist in planning and implementing various learning and program activities.
