POSITION SUMMARY:

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Center Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and daily operations of the early learning center. This role ensures a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children while maintaining compliance with state regulations and promoting high-quality early childhood education.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in early childhood education, including supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., Keystone Stars, DHS Regulations, Dept of Health).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with curriculum planning and child assessment tools.
• Proficiency in child care software (e.g., Brightwheel, Intellikds and Childware).
• Bilingual is a plus
