Aspen Village Childcare is a licensed childcare facility located in Emerald Park, Saskatchewan. We opened in September 2021 and are proud to offer a compassionate, safe, and fun learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to school age. Our motto is “It takes a village to raise a child” — and we are looking for a new team member to join our village.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking enthusiastic Early Childhood Educators who are ready to work in an older preschool room with 4-6 year olds. This is a full-time position starting October 1st.

QUALIFICATIONS

• ECE Level 2 or 3 (wage dependent on education and experience)

-Or currently enrolled in ECE classes working towards level 2 or 3

• Current Criminal Record Check
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Experience in childcare or early learning environments is an asset

• Build positive, supportive relationships with children and families
• Plan and implement daily activities that reflect children’s interests and developmental needs
• Use the Parent app to document and share updates with families (training provided if needed)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
• Collaborate with other educators and work independently as required
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring safety and engagement
• Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Follow Ministry of Education childcare ratio and licensing requirements
