We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Assistant to work in our Burnaby Language Centre LINC Program. This is a temporary position that will end in March 2026.

Location: 480-4800 Kingsway, Burnaby BC
Hours: 33.25 per week
Shift Schedule: 9:00am to 3:45pm Monday to Friday
Wage: $23.73 per hour (including wage enhancement). This is based on the BCGEU Collective Agreement.
Start Date: July 7, 2025 (two-week unpaid program closure August 4 to August 15, 2025)
End Date: March 2026

Qualifications:

• This position requires union membership with the British Columbia General Employee’s Union (BCGEU)
• Valid Early Childhood Educator Assistant License
• Valid Child Safe First Aid Certificate
• Valid Food Safe Level 1 Certification
• Clear Criminal Record Check

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $23.73 per hour
Expected hours: 33.25 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

• Early Childhood Educator Assistant License (preferred)
