OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with children, parents, and staff.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children (asset).
• Early Childhood Assistant certificate (preferred, not mandatory).
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
• Caring, patient, and reliable personality.

• Assist educators in planning and implementing daily activities.
• Supervise and ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times.
• Support children with routines (meals, rest, toileting, transitions).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Encourage positive social interaction and behavior management.
• Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents.
• Follow health, safety, and licensing standards.
