We screen candidates to ensure their suitability to work with children, this includes conducting National Police Checks, Working with Children Checks, and through reference checks. Our commitment to child safety is explained in Council's Child Safe Commitment Statement.   About the role This position is responsible for the planning and implementation of an innovative educational program for children from 6 weeks to 6 years within the National Quality Framework.  On a daily basis you will:  * Implement and evaluate a quality program with the children that is inclusive of the Early Years Learning Framework principles * work as part of a multidisciplinary team where positive communication is paramount.  * Implement practices to ensure paramount consideration of the rights, well-being and safety of all children in all decision-making * Comply with program related legislation guidelines, Council policies, statutory obligations and the National Quality Framework principles.   About You The successful candidate should have: * An ACECQA approved certificate III level education and care qualification * Previous experience working with children age 0 - 6 years in an Education and Care Service  * Knowledge of and/or experience with the Early Years Learning Framework * CHCPRT025 - Identify and report children and young people at risk  * Approved Child Safe training * A current First Aid Certificate  * Working with Children Check clearance. * An understanding of their responsibility to raise concerns under the Protected Disclosure policy   What’s on offer We are offering a permanent full time opportunity with an attractive remuneration from $68,111 to $74,982 plus 12% superannuation.
