Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as ‘The Food Bowl of Australia’ as around 25% of the total value of Victoria’s agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.

FULL TIME - PERMANENT

At Frank R. Pullar Children’s Centre we are seeking a Certificate 3 qualified Early Childhood Educator that can commit and offer a holistic, play based curriculum where the children’s interests, culture and abilities are the foundations for developing each child’s self-confidence to succeed.
This role is a full time position. Council offers support for professional development and pathways to advancement in the early childhood field.
The service operates from 7.15am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday and operates Long Day Care, a funded kindergarten program and offers a Maternal Child Health Service
We are seeking a likeminded educator who is able to embrace, enhance and strengthen our philosophy, supporting our program that believes each child is a unique individual and it is our commitment to provide a holistic, play based curriculum where the children’s interests, culture and abilities are the foundations for developing each child’s self-confidence to succeed.
Applicants must have their Certificate 3 in Children’s Services, a current police check, valid working with children’s check, Level 2 first aid in Education and Care and current CPR.
