About the role We are excited to share we are increasing our Early Childhood teams across Certificate III and Diploma positions. The positions assist in supporting the whole Early Childhood Education team with the implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate educational programs that reflect children’s needs and meet the requirements of the City of Greater Geelong, State Regulations and Commonwealth Government Guidelines, including the Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the National Quality Standards. Depending on your preferred position, you will be expected to contribute to planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate educational programs that reflect the children’s needs. You may be called to work in our Long Day Care educational programs or our Kindergarten programs for three and four year old’s. There are a number of Full-time & Part-time available across Certificate III and Diploma levels. Please view the position description to see a full listing of the vacancies available. About you To be successful in this role, you will have experience in: * Possess relevant tertiary qualification in accordance to the position you wish you apply for. * Excellent knowledge of the development of children in the 0-6 years age group and proven ability to plan appropriate programs in relation to the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Frameworks. * Ability to evaluate and make recommendations to the leadership team on the planning and implementation of education and care programs within the service. * Experience in undertaking educational program planning to meet the needs of all children within the service. * Ability to establish effective professional relationships with staff from a range of professional backgrounds in relation to the education and needs of children and their families. * Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and complete a Medical and Functional Assessment as part of the recruitment process.
