Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR - DIPLOMA

Salary: $73,089.64 per annum

Greater Shepparton City Council has a fantastic opportunity for a Diploma Educator to work in our Frank Pullar service. We are looking for an educator that can empower their team to be proactive supporting family engagement, utilising a collective approach to shared care.
This role is a full time 8 hour a day, temporary position. Council offers support for professional development and pathways to advancement in the early childhood field.
The service operates from 7.15am – 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday, has a funded kindergarten program and a Maternal Child Health Service.

Applicants must hold the following current qualifications and certificates:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
  • Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration OR Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
