Located in Lightning Ridge NSW 2834, 3-minutes drive away from a famous warm spring which opens 7/24 , free of charge. we are looking for a qualified staff member to join our cosy centre. You will be welcomed in a positive and welcoming environment in a well-resourced, quality child care centre. Centre operates 48 weeks a year, 8:00-4:30, with children of 2 - 5 years old. It’s the ideal job for a nice, hard working childcare worker who looking for a working holiday or someone looking for a change in lifestyle! Job share with a friend is welcome and discounted fully furnitured rental is available.

THE ROLE

• Planning, implementing and evaluating the daily program to reflect the Early Years Learning Framework for the children in your care
• Assist in daily routines
• Maintain a safe, open and healthy environment for children and team members
• Able to work without supervision

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma (equivalent or working towards accepted) in Early Childhood Education*
• Experience with children (Preferred)*
• Aware of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process
• Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Hard working and team player
• Ability to work 32.5 - 38 hours per week or job share
• Ability to work during shift hours (ranging from) 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday
• Ideally available to start working immediately.
• *Pay depends on qualifications and experience according Children’s Services Award plus 10% worker retention.
