We’re currently hiring both Lead and Assistant Teachers and welcome candidates with a wide range of childcare experience — from babysitting, camp counseling, or childcare support to seasoned classroom leadership. LEAD TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years of experience in early childhood education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Project Construct, Reggio Emilia, or other constructivist models
  • Confidence in curriculum planning, assessment, and classroom leadership

ASSISTANT TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience with children (babysitting, camp counseling, childcare, classroom aide, etc.) welcomed
  • CDA or coursework in Early Childhood a plus, but not required
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive teaching environment

Responsibilities

ASSISTANT TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Assistant Teachers bring energy, support, and care — helping to implement classroom activities and building strong relationships with children and families.

  • Work under the guidance of the Lead Teacher to implement daily activities
  • Engage children in play and learning with warmth and enthusiasm
  • Work collaboratively as a member of a teaching team to keep a safe, clean, organized classroom environment
  • Contribute to a joyful, respectful, team-based culture

SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES (ALL TEACHERS)

  • Build caring, respectful relationships with children and families
  • Support a safe, nurturing, play-based environment
  • Collaborate with teammates and contribute to our learning community
  • Participate in team meetings with a problem-solving, collaborative mindset
