ABOUT YOU

Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their early development? Look no further! Endeavour Early Education Concord is seeking a friendly, creative, and dedicated Childcare Room Assistant to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Childcare Room Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead educators in delivering high-quality care and education to our young learners. Your creativity, enthusiasm, and friendly nature will contribute to creating a warm and engaging atmosphere where children can thrive.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA).
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and a strong dedication to their well-being and development.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Effective organisational and time management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the lead educators to plan and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
  • Assist in creating a safe, clean, and organised learning environment for children.
  • Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor playtime, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Assist with daily routines, including meal and nap times, toilet training, and hygiene practices.
  • Observe and document children’s development and progress, providing feedback to the lead educators.
  • Support children with additional needs, ensuring their inclusion and participation in all activities.
