Missus Tattys Nursery are looking for a fun, dedicated, & caring person to join our team. We are looking for someone with the ability to work with all age groups, from babies to afterschool children. We opened our doors in 2001 and pride ourselves on being a home away from home for the children who attend. The right person will have the happiness, safety and development of the children as their main priority.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Level 5 or higher in Early Childhood Care & Education is required
· Fluent in both written and spoken English
· First Aid - an advantage
· Manual Handling - an advantage
· A working knowledge of Aistear & Siolta
The successful candidate should also have their Childrens First and will be Garda vetted. They should have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Early Years sector and issues facing children and families.
The position is full time (40 hours) and salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

Education:

• Advanced/Higher Certificate (required

· Support children’s development – emotional, social, physical and cognitive in carrying out activities
· Organise materials and toys to the benefit of children
· Maintain room, and equipment, to ensure the health and safety of children at all times
· Conduct observations and daily updates of children via Childpaths
· Follow the policies and procedures of the service at all times
