We are currently seeking a qualified professional looking for an opportunity to help us grow our established Daycare Program in the infant Toddler Program.
E.C.E. Certified Teacher - Infant Toddler classroom
Status: Full -Time/Permanent
Location: Langley, BC
Hours of Work: 37.5 per week

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure educational services follow the intent of Montessori and Reggio principles, school protocols and documentation abide by standards set forth by the Fraser Health Authority.
• Maintain and foster positive and ongoing communication with parents and co-workers.
• Maintain a professional standard of conduct at all times while promoting a positive image of Murrayville Academy and Early Learning Centre.
• Maintain compliance with all other internal policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• ECE or ECA
• Infant & Toddler certification considered an asset
• Montessori and Reggio Emilia training considered an asset
• Clean criminal and background check
• Doctor’s statement confirming applicant is fit to perform duties
• Professional references
• Copy of update to date immunization medical records
• Current First Aid Certificate

The ECE Certified Teacher reports to the Manager of the Early Learning Centre. The primary responsibility of this position is to co-ordinate efforts with the teaching team in our Daycare Program. Compliance with Fraser Health regulations and Murrayville Academy’s policies and procedures are imperative. The position requires commitment in providing children with a nurturing and caring environment that fosters creativity while providing opportunities to develop the child’s academic, social and emotional growth.
