Position Title: Early Childhood Educator, Infant-Toddler
Location: YMCA Highland Family Development Centre (155 McDermid Dr, Prince George, BC V2M 4T8)
Term: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Monday - Friday rotating shifts between the hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm. Shifts are nine hours with a one hour unpaid break.
Start Date: July 2, 2025
Salary: $30.19 per hour for ECE IT (Infant Toddler) License (Includes an additional $6 per hour as per the Provincial Government Wage Enhancement Initiative)
Reports To: Team Lead

• Provide quality care and creative programming directly to the children
• Build meaningful and positive relationships with children and families
• Work with your team to create a supportive and safe environment for both staff and families
• Deliver high quality and age-appropriate programs based on the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum
• Ensure constant active supervisor and collaborate as a team to facilitate smooth transitions between play areas.
• Utilize our parent communication app (Weemarkable) to provide daily communication and updates
• Keep a clean and safe environment – in all program areas and common spaces
• Follow all YMCA, Child Care Facility Licensing (CCFL) and legal requirements, including YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum standard
