Description

We are seeking to employ the above role with the possibility of an extension. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications:

  • High Scope qualification (preferable)
  • FETAC Level 5 Childcare Qualification or above (essential)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a childcare setting. (essential)

Essential qualities include:

  • A commitment to provide high quality childcare and education services to children aged between 6months-5 years.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Ability to co-operate with a large staff team.
  • Ability to plan and implement an age-appropriate curriculum (High scope) linked to Siolta and Aistear frameworks.

Duties include:

  • To provide a planned, structured, and age-appropriate activities for the children in our service
  • To ensure that the welfare of the children attending the service is paramount.
  • To work as part of a team in the delivery of a high-quality service
  • To share the day-to-day responsibility for children attending the service, including their physical and developmental care.

Job Type: Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From €14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
