SUMMARY

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in providing exceptional care and education to young learners in our vibrant environment located in Brooks, Alberta. This role is vital in shaping the educational experiences of children, aligning with our mission to nurture their growth and development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Early Childhood Educator Level 1, 2, or 3
• Proven experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to swim, skate, and garden is ideal.
• Certification in First Aid/CPR is mandatory upon hiring.
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check are required upon hiring.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote children’s physical, emotional, and social development.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Assess children’s progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Participate in outdoor activities that enhance children’s connection with nature.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that reflects the values of our Reggio Inspired approach.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
