Juniper Early Learning Center is currently seeking Early Childhood Educator’s and Early Childhood Education Assistants!
We are looking for any ECE’s or ECEA’s that want to join a wonderful school! We have openings for part - time educators, however there may be room to increase hours depending on your need. We also have positions available on our Substitute Educator List, if ’on call’ work is your preference.
We have a beautiful, Montessori center in Juniper Ridge, filled with wonderful families and amazing staff! Our hours are 7:30-5:30 (Monday through Friday), with Toddler (18-36 months), 3-5 full-day, 3-5 Montessori Kinder-Prep, and School Age programs . We run year round with the exception of statutory holidays and winter break.
Applicants will have their ECE or their ECEA certification from British Columbia as well as experience with children under 5 years old. Infant and Toddler Certification is an asset. ’On the job’ training is provided, however, prior experience in a day care or preschool setting is an asset, as is Montessori training. Applicants should be passionate about their work, organized, be a team player, while demonstrating initiative and leadership skills also. The ability to remain calm and patient, in potentially stressful situations, is a must.
Wage is dependent on experience and certifications. We are part of the ECE Wage Enhancement program that subsidizes Early Childhood Educator’s wage.
