PCELC is seeking a full time Registered Early Childhood Educator who has a passion and deep commitment to the caring and education of young children. This position is a maternity leave contract with the possibility of extension.

As a member of our dynamic team you will:

• Create a safe and welcoming learning environment for children, while ensuring the health and well-being of young children.
• Develop and implement a program in keeping with “How Does Learning Happen” and the PCELC program statement.
• Work in collaboration with parents, PCELC staff and other professionals that may be involved in a child’s growth and development.
• Attend staff meeting and other professional development opportunities as required.
• Other duties as required.

Starting wage is $24.03 +wage enhancement & CWELCC
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: From $24.03 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pakenham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Membership in good standing with the College of ECE’s (required)
• Standard First Aid/CPR - C (required)
• Vulnerable Sector Check less than 6 months old (required)
