QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Work, or Recreation & Leisure
• In good Standing with the College of Early Childhood Educator (if applicable)
• Standard First aid/CPR level C certification
• Vulnerable sector check and police check (done in the last 6 months)
• Record of up to date Immunization (TB Test, Tetanus, Polio, MMR)
• Experience working with children from 4-12 years of age in a child care setting
• Minimum 1 year supervisory Experience
• Technology skills an asset

• Permanent 10 Month Position (September to June) with the option of working summers as an Educator
• Mentor staff and support continuous learning
• Develop knowledge of current and emerging ministry curriculum
• Become a leader in Early Childhood Education
• Work 37.5 hours per week plus summers off if desired.
• Play a dual role as both an educator and administrator
• Administrative tasks- reporting to subsidy etc.
