Reports to: The Early Childhood Educator reports to the Program Supervisor. Here’s how you will make a positive impact on a day-to-day basis: * Plan, implement, and evaluate activities and experiences to meet individual and group needs of all children and families of a childcare program. * Guide and care for a group of children aged 3 months to 24 months | Infant | * Encourage learning and develop positive self-concepts for children * Ensure a healthy and safe environment for children * Maintain effective and cooperative teamwork and communication * Maintain positive and supportive relationships with parents and families In addition to being a wonderful and positive person & team player, you must have: * ECE Infant/Toddler &/or Special Needs Certification * Childcare First Aid and Food Safe Level 1 * Well-developed interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication * Strong knowledge and awareness of: 1. Emergent curriculum and the BC Early Learning Framework 2. Developmental needs of children 3. Family engagement strategies and parenting issues and needs 4. Guiding and caring strategies * Knowledge of broader child care field and its role in the community Additional skills and experiences may include: * Child care experience working in an inclusive child care setting * Second Language Terms of Employment: * Salary: $28.74 per hour plus employer-paid health and welfare benefits. Responsibilities

The Early Childhood Educator will plan, implement, and evaluate activities to meet the needs of children and families. They will guide and care for infants, ensuring a healthy and safe environment while maintaining positive relationships with parents.
