The Early Childhood Education Engagement Support Specialist will work in partnership with teachers, administrators and parents to develop center-based quality improvement plans. Help guide and provide hands on support to teaching staff so they can achieve their professional goals. Designing and delivering effective training as needed. Improve the performance of our child care facility by fostering employees self-value and confidence, boosting collaboration and creating consistent productivity. Look at the center-wide teaching strategies statistic to see where we can learn and growth in our daily strategies. Help staff with Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies Gold and implement the children’s development into their lesson plans. Conduct observations using ECERS and ITERS and build achievable goals to get us to the next level of STARS to Quality. An Early Childhood Education Engagement Support Specialist will welcome all new families by providing new orientation. This position will be in charge of center events. Partner with resource agencies, families and teachers to help meet the children developmental needs. This position will be sending out center-wide communication and monthly newsletters to families. Help with daily tasks as needed from the director and assistant director which will include but not limited to Procare, answering the phone, updated files, updating center information
