Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• License Preferred: LSW, LPC, MFT, OCPSA, OCPSS, OCPC.
• Required Experience: Experience providing mental health services, with preference for experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children (0-8).

• Provide programmatic, classroom, and individual prevention/consultation services to early learning centers, parents, and children.
• Conduct observations and strengths/needs assessments.
• Collaborate with Child Focus Early Learning Centers to address at-risk/challenging behaviors and safety planning.
• Assist young children in achieving social/emotional and academic success through collaboration with early learning educators and school administration.
• Educate parents about infant and early childhood mental health and facilitate access to community mental health resources and treatment services.
• Ensure timely documentation of all activities..
