As an Early Childhood Mental Health Practitioner, you’ll partner with young children (ages 0–5) and their caregivers to support social-emotional development, strengthen relationships, and promote healthy growth in early learning settings. Pay & Benefits Starting Salary: $45,000 annually Health, dental, and life insurance Generous PTO + paid holidays 401(k) / retirement plan options CEUs, paid training, and career growth opportunities Supportive, team-oriented culture What You’ll Do Provide developmentally appropriate mental health services to young children and families Deliver caregiver-focused and dyadic interventions that support attachment and regulation Collaborate with families, childcare providers, and community partners Develop and implement individualized, family-centered treatment plans Support early social-emotional development and school readiness Key Responsibilities Collaboration & Communication Partner with caregivers, early learning staff, and community providers Maintain clear, timely documentation and communication Advocate for child and family needs across systems Client & Family Support Provide trauma-informed, relationship-based care Coach and support caregivers in building strong parent-child connections Deliver education and resources to families and providers Documentation & Compliance Complete clinical documentation in alignment with billing and regulatory standards Maintain compliance with confidentiality, ethics, and reporting requirements Participate in ongoing training and reflective supervision Requirements You're a great fit if you: Meet Qualified Mental Health Practitioner criteria (qualifications can be reviewed here) Have strong knowledge of parenting, child development, and family dynamics. Have outstanding communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. Have a heart for working with high-risk youth and families in crisis. Are nonjudgmental, trauma-informed, and have a strengths-based approach. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods. Travel to schools and service locations as needed. Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Comfortable using computers and office equipment for daily documentation and communication.
