This contract position offers the opportunity to serve as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at a dedicated early childhood school located in Cedar Park, TX. The role focuses on delivering specialized instruction to a caseload of 10-20 young learners in an ECSE classroom environment, supported by teaching assistants. The assignment begins on August 15, 2025, continuing until filled or for the remainder of the semester or school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group instruction to early childhood students with special education needs
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and fellow educators to implement effective teaching strategies
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs
  • Engage with families and staff to support student development and communication
  • Maintain compliance with state education guidelines and early childhood special education standards

Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Early Childhood Special Education teaching license in Texas
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills fostering effective teamwork
  • Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and education staff

Work Schedule and Environment:

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Weekends and holidays off for a balanced work-life schedule
