This opportunity seeks a dedicated Early Childhood Special Education teacher to support young learners in a dynamic school environment. The role involves providing specialized instruction to students with diverse needs in an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) classroom setting. Collaborating with teaching assistants and school staff, this position focuses on fostering growth and development for 10-20 students in a supportive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to early childhood students with special needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and other educators to implement educational plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and team members.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive educational strategies.

Location:

  • Early Childhood School in Del Valle, Texas

Qualifications:

  • Active Early Childhood Special Education teaching license valid in Texas.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills conducive to teamwork.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families.

Work Schedule and Contract Details:

  • Contract position for the current school year (CSY), beginning August 15, 2025, until filled or semester/year end.
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Weekends and holidays off.
