Wyoming Child & Family Development, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Early Childhood Special Educator to join our dedicated team in Glenrock, WY. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week, 186 days/year) working with children from birth to five years old with developmental delays and special needs.

About the Role:
As an Early Childhood Special Educator, you will serve as an integral member of the Multidisciplinary Team, providing early intervention services, educational assessments, and individualized instruction to young children with special needs. This position includes responsibility for developing and implementing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in close coordination with families and other service providers.
You will case manage a dynamic caseload across Converse and Platte counties (with potential travel to Goshen and Niobrara counties), ensuring continuity of services and supporting developmental milestones through evidence-based practices. A company vehicle is provided for all work-related travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct developmental screenings, assessments, and evaluations
  • Develop and implement IFSPs and IEPs
  • Provide direct, individualized instruction aligned with early childhood special education best practices
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and service providers to support child development goals
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor progress toward goals

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to connect with children ages 0–5 and their families
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work within a flexible schedule and adapt to daily changes
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, or a related field
  • Wyoming endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education, or ability to obtain a provisional endorsement within a set timeframe
  • Willingness to complete additional training or certifications as required
