AU Busy Bees at Chinchilla The Service Secondary Early Childhood Teacher at Busy Bees Chinchilla supports the educational practice and quality outcomes across the entire service. Working collaboratively with the Lead ECT, Centre Director, and educators, this role contributes to curriculum implementation, reflective practice, and continuous improvement aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard. The Service Secondary ECT provides mentoring and professional guidance to educators, supports inclusive and intentional teaching practices, and builds strong, respectful partnerships with families to ensure consistent, high‑quality learning experiences for all children throughout the service. Essential Qualifications Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification as recognized by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one. First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis. Essential Skills and Attributes Deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to deliver high-quality education programs. Ability to plan, implement and evaluate educational programs tailored to individual children's needs and interests. Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with children, families and colleagues. Skill in observing children’s progress, documenting their learning and using this information to guide future planning. Ability to work effectively with other educators, support staff and families to create an inclusive, responsive, and respectful learning environment. Desirable Skills and Knowledge Prior experience in teaching in an early childhood settings. Ensuring an inclusive environment where all children, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities, can thrive. Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations. Engagement in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest educational trends and practices.
