AS EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO;

• Collaborate with educators and provide curriculum direction
• Implement a program based on the EYLF and NQF
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Village Policies and Procedures, National Regulations and National Law.
• Build strong relationships with the other educators, families and the local community.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are looking for someone for an immediate start. The following criteria apply

• Hold a Bachelor or Masters Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Regulations
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
• A current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• A genuine desire to work with young children
• An ability to work as part of a team
• experience or willingness to document children’s learning in an aesthetically pleasing and meaningful way
• must be able to deliver quality education, care and fun though out daily centre life through Play Based Leaning approaches

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our welcoming, dedicated and professional team at Children’s Village Girraween, a 40 place centre close to Toongabbie Station and Shops. Children’s Village is a family run business that has been operating since 2008. Children’s Village currently has three centres in Sydney’s West. You will be required to support the team and facilitate the growth of our educational standards. At Children’s Village we provide highest quality care and educational standards. Our philosophy and practices are strongly influenced by Reggio Emilia.
Our centre is open from 7:00am-6:00pm, this position is open to both full-time and part time applicants.
