Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) and Educational Leader to lead a preschool/kinder room and contribute and lead the educational program in a collaborative, nurturing environment.

As the Educational Leader and Pre-School Room Leader the following is required:

  • Design and implement a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF and NQF.
  • Contribute to a culture of reflection, growth, and fun.
  • Lead the development and delivery of a high-quality, age-appropriate educational program.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the program through reflection and planning.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning space.
  • Passion for early learning and genuine commitment to children’s wellbeing.
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills with both children, families and colleagues.
  • Have a desire to guide others in reflecting on their practice knowledge of individual children and learning styles so that approaches can be differentiated to meet complex needs of children from a range of backgrounds and abilities.
  • Possess personal qualities and a willingness to listen as well as coach, mentor and reflect alongside the team.
  • Contribute positively as a leader.
  • Proficiency in English both written and oral.
  • Be someone who has an interest in reading widely and sharing information with other educators.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 – $46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Teaching: 3 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Working with Children Check (Required)
