Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as ‘The Food Bowl of Australia’ as around 25% of the total value of Victoria’s agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER
Hourly Rate: $34.02 to $58.96 per hour (rate dependent on years of experience and validation level)

Arthur Mawson Kindergarten has an exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher to lead a team in their kindergarten program on a Monday & Wednesday 8:15am – 4.15pm.

We are seeking a teacher capable of supporting our service in delivering a play-based education and care program. This program aims to nurture children’s confidence, foster a sense of belonging, cultivate a love of learning, and promote community connectedness. The ideal candidate will create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that facilitates a smooth transition for children from home to our service.
This role is employed under the Early Education Employees Agreement 2020 (EEEA) which includes a 10 week leave model.
