MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education for those with a prior bachelor’s degree
• Current First Aid/CPR certification

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with children aged 0–6 in a licensed Early Childhood Education or preschool setting.
• Experience in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Familiarity with early childhood assessment tools and documentation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Understanding of child development principles and practices.
• Strong management and positive behaviour guidance skills.
• Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and other educators.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
