Responsibilities

THE ROLE: LEAD TEACHER, PRE-KINDY (3–4 YEARS) AS A LEAD TEACHER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Leading your team and daily operations of the room
  • Developing and implementing engaging educational programs
  • Communicating regularly with families to foster strong partnerships
  • Creating stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environments
  • Building effective routines, systems, and processes for smooth, high-quality care
  • Role-modelling respectful relationships and professional practice
    This role is perfect for someone with a strong sense of initiative, collaborative spirit, and passion for educational leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Proven experience as an ECT, ideally in a leadership capacity
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine love for working with children
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
